This includes point-of-origin (source) tracking for the honey sold right back to the location (and even the individual hive if desired).
Record the Collection of items such as Honeycomb, Propolis, Bee Pollen, Queens, Queen Cells, Royal Jelly and more...
and keep track of the Sales of these items (as well as other services provided e.g.
a Pollination Service).HiveSmartHQ also provides plenty of useful summary Views (printable reports) for each of your Hive locations (or in Total).
For example, your current Hive Inventory, a comparative Service History for each Hive, and a Production Summary showing revenue, honey yield and harvested honey boxes (by Location or Hive).
Track and compare Varroa test results over time too.Other features include Location mapping, Equipment Inventory, KnowledgeBase, Seasonal Checklists and Action Items (to do’s).
Optionally link these last two to your device Calendar for automatic reminders.Its easy to tailor to your region and specific requirements, and only capture/use the level of detail that suits your situation.
The app can be used anywhere - even in remote locations with no phone coverage or internet access.
For those who prefer not use their device in the field, theres also Forms available to record data on-site, then update later when its convenient.

The first inspection for each Hive is also free.
Thereafter it’s less than $0.07 (US) per inspection and all other features are free.
Bundles of 30, 60 or 100 Service Credits can be purchased through the app as needed.
Data entered is always accessible (i.e.
no locking irrespective of Service Credit balance).Technical update with improved performance along with several minor enhancements and cosmetics tweaks.

"It migjt be ok for some but my main reason for downloadong was to track how much feed im goving my bees, while you can do that in this app provided your hive is at least 2 boxes high, it is impossible if you just have 1 brood box and no honey supers on like I do so therefore I cannot use this app until my hives grow enough for a second box"

"I downloaded many beekeeping apps for evaluation. None had the features I needed, some had a lot of frame by frame irrelevant records and some were not easy to work with. This app is very good and the developer has error traps all through it when you get it wrong. Clever, quirky and humorous comments gets you corrected before you save with missing or wrong data. I highly recomended this app as absolutely the best available. It even works down here in Australia where the rest of the world think we are upside down☺"

"Gave 3 stars due to fact, at least on a Samsung galaxy S8 there is no way to exit the app short of restarting your phone. The app's home button takes you to the app's home and the app's menu button has no exit app button. On the galaxy s8 the phones back button and home button are removed by the app's home screen leaving you stuck in the app barring a power cycle of your phone."

"I just started using this a few weeks ago and it is working out great so far. Currently I operate 55 hives and this makes it much easier to update colony information in the field than other apps. Overall it is very easy to learn and operate. A general inventory list would be helpful to track all of my equipment( frames, hive bodies, smokers, hive tools, jackets, parts, etc.) in use, needing repairs/replaced, or in storage. Also a print feature would be great for the overviews and summaries."
